In 1993, Daniela de Marchi took her first steps at the European Institute of Design, where she was awarded a scholarship in jewelry design. This is where her first creative experiments took place and where Dropage was born, a texture of small metal spheres destined to become the brand's distinctive signature.
THE WORKSHOP
Between 2000 and 2003, Daniela De Marchi opened her first atelier in Milan, in the historic goldsmiths' district on Via dei Piatti: a space that combined home and work. It was here that a clear vision was born, characterized by research and determination, with the goal of creating unique jewelry designed for women who choose and purchase for themselves.
THE EXPANSION
Between 2004 and 2008, the brand conquered the Japanese market, entering the most sought-after boutiques. Professional growth was accompanied by significant personal development, while the ddiDiamonds collection came to life, reinterpreting iconic jewelry with sophisticated diamond craftsmanship.
FROM PRODUCT TO BRAND
Between 2009 and 2020, the workshop transformed into a larger creative space, still in the heart of Milan. In 2017, the boutique in Piazzale Lavater opened, marking a fundamental transition: the recognizable jewel evolved into a distinctive and consolidated brand.
