Production & Craftsmanship

ddm jewelry is born in Milan, where it is conceived, researched, and developed in-house by Daniela de Marchi's atelier. The prototyping and design research phase is directly overseen by the ddm team, with great attention to the shape, wearability, color, and personality of each creation.

Metal casting is carried out by selected external laboratories, while coloring, enameling, and assembly are entrusted to a long-standing artisanal partner, with whom Daniela has collaborated for over 25 years, located less than a kilometer from the atelier.

This supply chain allows for careful control over every phase of the jewel, from the initial idea to the finished creation.

Every ddm jewel is enameled, colored, and finished by hand. For this reason, no two jewels are ever perfectly identical. The shades of the enamels and metals may vary slightly from piece to piece, making each creation unique.

The stones used are also natural and may show differences in color, transparency, veins, and inclusions. For earrings, the atelier carefully selects stones that are as similar as possible, but any variation should be considered a peculiarity of the Daniela de Marchi jewel and not a defect.

Care & Maintenance

To preserve your ddm jewelry over time, it is advisable to avoid direct contact with perfumes, creams, detergents, chlorine, seawater, and chemical products.

When not being worn, it is best to store them in their case, separate from other jewelry, protected from humidity and rubbing.

The dropage surfaces can be gently cleaned with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding abrasive products.

For jewelry with stones, triplets, resins, enamels, or diamonds, it is advisable to take particular care and avoid impacts or excessive pressure.

After-Sales Services

Yes. ddm offers a Dyeing service, designed to breathe new life into jewellery over time.

This is a paid service that allows you to refurbish a piece of jewellery you have already purchased or, when possible, change its colour to adapt it to a new style, a new need, or simply a new moment in your life.

To activate the service, simply return the piece of jewellery to the Atelier or Boutique, where a ddm consultant will assess the most suitable intervention with you.

In approximately 3 weeks, outside of holiday periods, the piece of jewellery can be returned renewed and ready to be worn again.

For earrings, please remember that the service must always be requested for the complete pair, not for a single earring.

In case of breakage or minor repairs, the ddm workshop offers a dedicated assistance service, whenever possible.

Jewellery requiring repair can be brought directly to the Atelier or Boutique, where a ddm consultant will assess the most suitable intervention in consultation with the workshop.

For those not residing in Milan, please contact customer service at customercare@danielademarchi.it to be contacted and arrange the repair process.

Repair times are generally around 3 weeks, outside of holiday periods. Times may vary depending on the type of intervention required and the workshop's availability.

For earrings, we recommend always bringing or sending the complete pair, to allow for a proper assessment and harmonious intervention.
